Christmas is less than a month and a half away, which means that it is time to start planning your Fort Wayne holiday now. Whether you live here throughout the year or will be visiting family and friends in Fort Wayne, here are three fun things that our lawyers at the Truitt Law Offices recommend doing over the holiday season:
- Check out our Botanical Conservancy and 12 Days of Christmas exhibit.
The Botanical Conservancy’s 12 Days of Christmas Exhibit will be running from November 24 through January 8. It is located at 1100 South Calhoun Street.
The botanical garden is decorated to reflect the “12 days of Christmas.” It is a great exhibit for children as well as for adults.
Tickets are only $3 for children and $5 for adults. Children age two and under can attend the exhibit for free. See the Botanical Conservancy website for more details.
- Stop by our Northeastern Indiana Fantasy of Lights drive-thru event.
Scheduled to take place from November 22 through December 31, the Northeastern Indiana Fantasy of Lights drive-thru event is a must-attend for those who really want to get into the holiday spirit.
The 1.5-mile route is located within Franke Park. It features more than 70 huge animated light displays.
Whether you have children or not, you will find joy in the light displays of Santa and his reindeer, snowmen, candy canes, ice skaters and more.
The cost of driving through the park is $10 per car on Friday and Saturday and $5 per car Sunday through Thursday.
- Sample tasty treats at the Festival of Gingerbread.
Gingerbread is a classic Christmas treat. This year, you can sample numerous gingerbread goodies at the Festival of Gingerbread at the History Center.
Priced at $6 for adults and $4 for youth and seniors, the Festival of Gingerbread will feature more than 100 edible creations – many of which are prepared by professional chefs.
The festival will take place from November 25 through December 11. Full details and times can be viewed at the Fort Wayne website.
- Have a merry (and safe) holiday season.
From all of us at the Truitt Law Offices, we hope that you have a very merry and safe holiday season. Also, don’t forget about helping those in need.
As we move through the holiday season, remember to prioritize safety. More drivers on the road, and more festivities that involve alcohol means there will be a greater number of intoxicated drivers on the road and a greater risk for accidents.
Try to avoid driving in bad weather, never drive after having a drink and make sure the whole family wears their seatbelts.
If you are injured over the holiday season in Fort Wayne, Huntington or a nearby area in Northeast Indiana, please contact our law offices for a free consultation. We can review the facts of your case and help you to understand your rights and your legal options.
